From blank plan to print file in 7 steps

PrintHaus takes you through seven steps, wizard-style — from the floors to the finished print file. Each step has its own panel, and your 3D preview stays live the whole time.

Getting around the wizard

• Sidebar on the left: jump straight to any step, or step one forward and back with Back / Next.
• 3D preview in the middle: always visible, in every step — you see every change on the model instantly.

Floor plan first

From the roof step onward, every later step stays locked as long as your floor plan is geometrically invalid. Floors and Floor plan, on the other hand, you can open at any time.

The seven steps

Step 1 · Floors Set the number of full floors (1 to 10) and give each floor a floor-to-floor height (0.60 to 10.00 m; up to 20.00 m on the ground floor).

Step 2 · Floor plan Pick a base shape — Rectangular, L-shape, T-shape, U-shape or Free — and enter the edge dimensions (0.5 to 30 m each); with Free you draw the polygon yourself.

Step 3 · Roof Add a roof shape (Gable roof, Hip roof, Shed roof, Flat roof or No roof) and set the pitch and overhang.

Step 4 · Fit-out & Add-ons Place interior walls, stairs, ceiling cutouts, chimneys, balconies, terraces, canopies and columns — per floor, via a mode switch.

Step 5 · Openings Set windows, doors and gates, corner glazing and cutouts into the walls; in the roof tab you also get roof windows and dormers.

Step 6 · Extras Assign textures and surfaces and — if you like — add Bomb Blasts.

Step 7 · Export Choose the scale, set the printer or print bed, and generate the file.

What you end up with

The export gives you your print file as 3MF, STL or STEP.

Archie: requests in German and English

Archie supports text requests in German and English. Sign in with available plan downloads, an unlimited licence or download credits. The chat itself does not use a download. Supported changes are checked and applied to the current model; use Undo to reverse them. If the model or the relevant selection changes while a reply is pending, the outdated change is not applied. Expand the chat to see the conversation and any source notes.

Conversations are stored permanently in a private server-side journal to improve answers. It contains questions, redacted answers and application-reported acceptance or rejection of changes, but no account linkage, IP addresses or complete building models. Direct personal identifiers are automatically removed; free text may still permit identification. Please do not enter sensitive data. Display without an application acknowledgement is explicitly marked unconfirmed.

Ad measurement

If you choose to agree, I send confirmed registrations and successful exports to OpenAI with their time, a random event identifier and any available ad click reference. This shows which ads produce results. No email addresses, names or model data are sent for this purpose. The click reference is used for attribution for up to 30 days. You can withdraw your consent here at any time. PrintHaus also works without consent.
